Going "Splorin"

Sweet Hubby and I are going "sploring".   We are finally off (well, most people knew that already) and running (or flying) on our long planned journey.  I think all of our ducks are in a row, and we will have much to share upon our return, but the blog will be quiet for a while.

Just know that Spring is popping up in Colorado..... the crocus are up, which thrills me, and the rest of my Spring blossoms are peeking out.  We have enjoyed a lovely week of catching up around here, fixing broken things, dusting, repacking, and even some Spring cleaning in the garden.

This morning we could hear the woodpecker, 'rat-a-tatting' on the air conditioner (his favorite way of flirting), I know that there will soon be baby birds, and bees and flowers blooming here.

Sending 'hugs' your way..... to last a few weeks.  Hoping that life is blooming in your neck of the woods, and that you are feeling peaceful and joyful as Spring approaches.

Here's an old photo..... but with the ever present message, that there are always new beginnings......

The renewal of Springtime
always lightens my spirit

I bet you thought I fell off the turnip truck again..... nope..... just laying low.  It seems that I do not acclimate well to altitude....yet, again.  We are in Colorado, where the snow is trying to fall, and it is a lot more chilly than Florida, for sure.  I have been 'under the weather', as I often say when I am here.  I get wild headaches upon re-entry...and a general malaise.  Yuk, hate that part of coming home.

However, we plan on seeing many friends here, before we leave for Australia and New Zealand.  I am nervous and excited (mostly, I think, about driving on the 'other' side of the road").  Everything else, I am totally revved about.

So, I just had a moment to say 'hello'.... and I might not get back here, before we leave.  When I get back, I will have beautiful photos to share.

Just a note:  the crocus were peeking up from the ground when we arrived.  It is a sure sign that Spring is getting closer.

Happy thoughts of Spring!

Looking forward to the fuzziness of Green.
