Missing Fall...

Last year, I took these photos during the Fall season. This year, most of the trees have 'puddles' of leaves at their base (especially the young ones). The snow has melted, as it quickly does in Colorado, but the gray skies linger.....with spots of sun popping through each day...and temperatures haven't really gotten above fifty-five. Now, that is certainly 'do-able', but it's not really a Colorado Fall. We are usually spoiled with sunshine, harvest mums, grand groves of Aspen...quaking in the gentle wind. I am missing Fall this year.

Last year, a fun stop along the way during our Maine trip

I think October is the best month for visiting Colorado. But this year is an exception. There is always an exception. But it should change as weather does quickly in Colorado.
