Art Group trading cards...

Several weeks ago, my Art Group decided to get out and check out the art stores in the area. We did a bit more shopping than that.... with a lot of hilarity (Get a group of women out on a sunny day with some extra dollars in their pockets... and anything can happen).

In one of the Art stores, my friend found some of these 'trading card' size Bristol paper... which was designated for art work in miniature. Well, on a hoot, several of us bought them and I played with the size and paper last week. This is actually about 2x3 inches...very small! It's fun to experiment with size and see what happens. Just wanted to share it with you.

And for those of you who live in the Denver area.... "Wicked" is playing at the Denver Center for Performing Arts and it is charming, funny, grand, and an evening of entertainment, well worth the price of the ticket. Honestly, the lead actors were pretty much on stage for over two and a half hours... with amazing voices. It was an outstanding production. Go and splurge to support the Theatre.... it's another form of art that is well worth your time and money.

Oh, and CONGRATULATIONS to our President for the Nobel Peace Prize. Let's all continue to work on peaceful coexistence, no matter what our beliefs. It is worth the peace that it brings to families... cities, counties, states... Countries and the World. Start today.
